The older generation V the younger generation?

Governments,teachers,systems & parents, Im teaching my girlfriend who is much younger than myself how to read & write basic English,Ive met her mother she can hardly string a sentence together using basic grammer,the teachers ignored her so she bunked off ,the school sent letters wich her mum couldnt read as the school never had a reply she was excluded,so the system failed her, Ive met her peer group & they sound like Ms Tate.Am I Bovvered!
