Will this make a difference to my viewing???thanks?

I am getting in to astronomy and have a not brilliant, you could say "cheap" reflector,at the minute i do not seem to be able to see any colour with my scope (when i look at jupiter i just see a bright small orange disk, you can see some of its moons but they just look like pin heads. i was thinking about buying a meade zoom eyepiece at the price of �128 it was the best buy in this months sky at night magazine. But i was just wondering if this will make much difference to my viewing?, i want to be able to see deep sky objects and the eyepieces i have seem to be no good at all. thanks in advance
