Which .22 caliber pistol should I get?

I have a Ruger .22 single six with interchangeable .22 long rifle and .22 magnum cylinders. The long rifle cartridge is great for target shooting and you can get them in bulk at Wal-mart. The magnum has a much higher muzzle velocity to reach out and touch those varmints!
