White-tailed deer; out of control forest maggots or cute fuzzy mega-fauna?

Don't know where you live, but we open up the state parks here for controlled hunts of WTD. How about coyotes, wolves, rattlesnakes? Talk about no value to the ecosystem. How about an open season on them?
