Acute cystitis in a cat. A substitute for intramuscular injections?

A cat with hemorrhagic cystitis (blood in urine), intramuscular injections of a hemostatic drug (Dicynone) and forcible watering with diuretic tinctures (cowberry leaf or alike) was recommended by a vet. Both injections and giving forcibly to drink (by means of a syringe inserted into the mouth) is stressfull both for us and for the cat. Could you advice something? (I'm from Russia)
