I think my mom lied to me about my dads life insurance payout amount. should i ask her about it?

my parents divorced like 5 years ago but my dad never took her off of that so she got it. my sister got 75,000 because my mom told me to let her be in charge of the estate.(my sister didn't share). the 75,000 was from his work life ins. the other wasn't. my mom told me it was only $20,000 and that she would give it all to me. (my dads biker buddies paid for the cremation) my aunt (my dads sister) told me she talked to my mom and found out there was more a lot more. i'm 22 and struggling my mom doesn't need the money. should i confront her on this? i really need money. i'm about to sell my truck so i can afford my rent and the rest of my bills. and how much is the average payout for a 50 year old guy in Florida?
