Is it possible to be 'friends' when you are both incredibly attracted to each other?

It sounds to me like he is comfortable being more than just friends, if he is separated from his wife then there is no cause to feel like you can't go for it. Don't stress about and just go for it and enjoy it. The divorce could take a long time and you don't want to be 'friends' with guy the whole time or you will go crazy.
