Stargate universe question's?

Since they know what the coordinates are to destiny when they use the stones why don't they just say hey these are the coordinates to the ship why don't you dial and get us out of here? So why haven't they done that? also were did they get those dam stone things anyways? And for a fianl question since they have those rocks and they said the control panel on destiny is locked to a gene. why don't they get jackson from sg-1 and rodney from Atlantis make them use the stones and help figure out the gene since they did it before for Atlantis's stuff. And because they super smart. Btw you don't haft to answer all of there questions just one is enuf hopefully in the end there all answered. Thanks in advance :)
