Could you use Polaroid film for a pinhole camera (a really simple oatmeal box one)?

I've made one out of an oatmeal box, but I don't have supplies to develop the film, any local places that would develop the film I'd otherwise have to use, or any darkrooms available to me. If I used Polaroid film and tried to take a picture with the camera, would it work? Why/why not?
