Homecoming Dress Imput? (No Pics, Sorry)?

I don't know how to get pictures on here or else I'd show you guys the dress, but I'm thinking of wearing something a little dofferet to homecoming this year. Historically, I have rocked the cookie-cutter shiney jewel tone strapless homecoming dress, but this year I bought a slinky little black dress with spaghetti straps. It's not shiny or glitzy and I want to wear a small silver chain necklace with a chunky diamond piece and matching earrings with black patent leather heels. The dress is pretty form-fitting and kindof short so it's still y, but I don't know if it will look weird going *that* simple. I don't mind standing out a little, but I don't want to look underdressed, you feel me? What do you think? Thanks!:)
