Screw in Whammy bar and doesnt move?

on my Spectrum Guitar there are 3 nobs Tone, Tone and Volume, and a switch to change the echo and stuff, there is a whole for the whammy bar, when i screw it in all it does is spin I cant push it down it just spins, Is it a fake whammy bar? or is my guitar messed up? I need help
